Vridhira E-Commerce Platform Terms & Conditions


These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of the Vridhira platform operated under Vridhira Charitable Trust. By accessing or using our Platform, you agree to comply with these Terms. Please read them carefully.


1. Definitions

For clarity, the following definitions apply throughout these Terms:

  • Platform: Website, mobile app, and associated services operated by Vridhira.
  • User: Any individual accessing the Platform, including both Customers and Suppliers.
  • Customer: User purchasing products from the Platform.
  • Supplier/Seller: User offering products for sell on the Platform.
  • Order: Request placed by a Customer for a product available on the Platform.
  • Products: Physical or digital items listed by Suppliers on the Platform.
  •  Any term not defined in these Terms shall have the meaning assigned under applicable law.

2. Eligibility

  • Users must be 13 years or older.
  • Only individuals capable of entering into legally binding contracts may use the Platform.
  • Users must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
  •  Accounts providing false information may be suspended or terminated without notice.

3. Account Registration & Security

  • Users must create a unique account to place orders or list products.
  • Confidentiality: Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their login credentials.
  • Account Misuse:
    • Multiple accounts by the same person are prohibited.
    • Any fraudulent activity, misuse of promotions, or policy violation may result in account suspension. 

Vridhira is not liable for any unauthorized use of your account.


4. Platform Usage

  • Users must use the Platform only for lawful purposes.
  • Prohibited activities include:
    • Selling counterfeit or prohibited products
    • Engaging in fraudulent transactions
    • Misusing promotional offers
    • Attempting unauthorized access to our systems
  •  Vridhira reserves the right to monitor and block any activity deemed suspicious or abusive.

5. Product Listings & Descriptions

  • Product descriptions, pricing, and images are provided by the Supplier.
  • While we strive for accuracy, Vridhira does not guarantee the correctness of information provided by Suppliers.
  • Non-returnable products include:
    • Cosmetics, personal care, and skincare products
    • Intimate apparel and undergarments
    • Perishable goods, food, or edible items
    • Customized or personalized products
  •  Customers must read product details carefully before placing an order.

6. Orders & Payments

  • Orders are confirmed only after successful payment authorization.
  • Supported payment modes: UPI, credit/debit cards, net banking, wallets, and cash on delivery (COD).
  • COD Rules:
    • Customers must ensure availability for delivery.
    • Refusal of COD orders may result in restriction of COD option for future purchases.
  •  Vridhira reserves the right to cancel or reject orders if payment issues are detected.

7. Cancellations

7.1 Cancellation by Customer

  • Customers may cancel an order before it is dispatched.
  • Cancellation is done via the ‘My Orders’ section.
  • Acceptable reasons include:
    • Order placed by mistake or duplicate orders
    • Change of mind or incorrect shipping details
    • Desired change in product size, color, or specifications

7.2 Cancellation by Supplier

  • Suppliers may cancel an order within 24 hours of the scheduled dispatch date.
  • Reasons may include:
    • Product out of stock
    • Product unavailable due to supplier error
  • The supplier will suffer a security breech and their account balance a could fall

7.3 Cancellation by Vridhira

  • Vridhira may cancel an order at any stage if:
    • Delivery address is non-serviceable
    • Payment verification fails
    • Product is lost in transit or supplier is unable to dispatch
    • Regulatory restrictions or lockdowns prevent fulfillment
  • Vridhira may also cancel any order for any reason deemed appropriate at its discretion.

8. Returns, Exchanges & Refunds

  • Governed by our Returns, Exchange & Refund Policy.
  • Refunds are credited to the original payment source.
  • Non-returnable/non-exchangeable products:
    • Cosmetics, personal care, intimate wear, perishable items, sealed hygiene products
  • Returned/exchanged products must be unused, in original packaging with Quality Check, and accompanied by warranty or accessories where applicable.

9. Supplier Responsibilities

  • Suppliers must provide authentic, safe, high-quality products, and proper packaging.
  • Timely dispatch, proper packaging, and accurate product descriptions are mandatory.
  •  Violation of these rules may lead to account suspension, delisting, or legal action.

10. Intellectual Property

  • All trademarks, logos, software, and content are the property of Vridhira or licensed to Vridhira.
  • Users may not reproduce, copy, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

11. Content & Reviews

  • Users may submit reviews and feedback on products.
  • Reviews must be honest, lawful, non-abusive, and appropriate for product
  • Vridhira reserves the right to remove offensive, false, or misleading reviews.

12. Data & Privacy

  • Governed by our Privacy Policy.
  • Data is collected for:
    • Improving Platform services
    • Fraud detection
    • Personalized experiences
  • We do not sell or share personal data with third parties outside of service partners required to fulfill orders.

13. Limitation of Liability

  • Vridhira is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses.
  • Total liability is limited to the amount paid for the product.
  • We are not responsible for delays caused by events beyond our control (force majeure, strikes, natural disasters).

14. Termination

  • Accounts may be suspended or terminated for:
    • Policy violations
    • Fraud or misuse of Platform
  • Users may request account deletion via support.

15. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

  • Governed by laws of India.
  • Disputes subject to jurisdiction of courts in Delhi.
  • Arbitration may be used if mutually agreed.

16. Changes to Terms

  • Vridhira may update, modify, or amend Terms at any time.
  • Users are responsible for reviewing updated Terms periodically.
  •  Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.
